It was this or Mcdonalds. We chose the better of the two evils. There fried chicken is awesome. However i didnt have that. I had the already cooked country fried steak and instant mashed potatoes. Lol. Its better than mcdonalda though

We stopped here on a Sunday on our way up to Canada. The church crowd had begun to arrive as we were promptly seated by a pleasant young woman. We were given menus and offered the buffet. We chose the buffet just to save time. There were scrambled eggs, ham, biscuits and gravy, casserole dishes, potatoes, fried chicken and vegetables. Nothing was particularly bad, just very bland and blah. The biscuits and gravy were almost like wall paper past but not quite as bad just not a whole lot of flavor. The fried chicken was the highlight as it was ok. Some of the potato dishes were flavorful but not really anything very interesting. That's ok. It filled us up. It wasn't expensive but I wouldn't go out of my way to visit here.

I don't have any complaints except my grilled chicken could've stayed on the grill for another minute but it was still good. I also got soup and salad. Salad bar had romain lettuce which I prefer, was small bar but had the necessary like big croutons, real bacon pieces, diced ham, and blue cheese dressing lol. The soup alone was worth the stop. It was cream of chicken and rice.

I came with a group of 16 people an we only had to wait approximately 5 minutes. We were promptly seated and got our order of drinks taken in a timely manner. After everyone got their drinks we got our food order taken. For a large group our food came in about 30-40 minutes for all of us. I ordered a ribeye medium rare and it was mostly that way except for one end of it. It was tender and delicious anyways. The dinner roll is very soft and also really good. I got a baked potato that was just perfect. I really didn't hear anyone complaining about their food. I saw the chicken fried steak, strip steak, roast beef, and fried chicken. No one complained at all. I would come back and get the steak again for sure. Thank you for serving us all!!

Not bad. I had beef and gravy with noodles over mashed taters. With corn and a very big nice steamed roll. $7.99 water. My son wasnt hungry. I enjoyed my meal my waitress was very attentive n polite and was doing a fine job

The woman emptying the trash can took time from her busy schedule to assist me after I stood at the counter waiting for a few minutes. She even 5 seconds to wash some of the filth from her hands. She didn't know the menu and I felt like I was inconveniencing her. She gave me tartar sauce instead of coleslaw. The coleslaw was sub par. If you had to choose between this and McDonalds - I hope you enjoy your happy meal.

Good food. Great service. Only problem (with me being from smoke free Nebraska) is that there is still smoking allowed here. Forgot how much that stinks, when I am no longer used to there being a smoking section. But, that is my only complaint.

Great food, all fresh and made from scratch. Great food in a fun atmosphere with cool decore. I'll go back for sure. Stumbled upon it on our way home from omaha. It was either Trail's End, Subway or McDonald's. We chose Trail's End, it was excellent.
